The products described on this website (exclusive of wood shelves) are warranted for a period of one year from the date of shipment by Rapid Rack against defects in materials and workmanship.  Warranty void if product is subject to misuse, abuse, alteration, accident if used for other than designated purpose, or if maximum load capabilities are exceeded.  This warranty is not transferable, does not cover chipping, flaking, scratches, rust, dents, or other damage to finish or surface of products.  Responsibility of Rapid Rack is limited to repair or replacement of the product.  Rapid Rack is not responsible for any consequential, incidental or other damages or losses resulting from product failure.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

For your protection, examine each shipment carefully.  If there is any evidence of damage or shortage in transit, insist that the delivering carrier make appropriate notation on the freight bill before you sign it.  If you concealed damage is discovered after receipt of shipment, immediately notify carrier, requesting inspection report to support your claim.  Any claim for damage in transit must be filed with the delivering carrier. Rapid Rack will not accept return of merchandise damaged in transit.  Your recourse is with the delivering carrier.
